COMPLIANCE & CODE OF CONDUCT

We operate in full compliance with Greek law and the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice. Furthermore, we adhere to the Codes of Conduct of our Partner Companies/Suppliers when they impose stricter requirements than the aforementioned standards.
Our Anti-Bribery Policy
M.S. Jacovides Hellas S.A. enforces a “zero tolerance” policy regarding bribery and is committed to conducting its business activities with the highest ethical and professional standards, in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. This anti-bribery policy, in accordance with ISO 37001:2016, for which we have been certified by LRQA Hellas, outlines the Company’s commitment to preventing bribery and corruption in all its forms. This policy applies to all employees, directors, executives, external partners, and any third parties acting on behalf of the Company.
The Company strictly prohibits all forms of bribery (offering, providing, receiving, or soliciting bribes, monetary rewards, commissions, or any other illicit transactions for gaining an advantage, etc.), whether involving public officials or private individuals. It is committed to complying with all relevant anti-bribery laws, ethical conduct regulations, and applicable provisions of industry codes of ethics.
To implement these principles, the Company has developed and enforces an Anti-Bribery Management System in accordance with ISO 37001:2016, with the following key objectives:
- Establishing a zero-tolerance culture against bribery and corruption.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable anti-bribery laws and regulations at both national and international levels.
- Preventing, detecting, and addressing bribery and corruption risks associated with our operations.
- Guaranteeing that all business relationships with third parties, including suppliers, customers, healthcare professionals, and partners, adhere to anti-bribery and anti-corruption standards.
- Providing guidance, continuous training, and awareness programs for employees on the Company’s Code of Conduct and anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices.
- Maintaining a strong and transparent reporting mechanism for any suspected or actual incidents of bribery, corruption, violence, harassment, or legal violations.
- Ensuring that consequences for non-compliance with this policy are clear and consistently enforced.
- Enhancing anti-bribery and anti-corruption measures through regular review and improvement of the Anti-Bribery Management System.
The Company has established, documented, implemented, maintained, and continuously reviews and, where necessary, improves its Anti-Bribery Management System, including all required procedures and their interactions, in compliance with ISO 37001 requirements. Additionally, the Company has appointed a Compliance Officer for Anti-Bribery and Corruption, who serves as an expert in implementing and managing the Company’s anti-bribery and compliance program.
All employees are required to strictly adhere to this Policy, the Code of Conduct, and the procedures of the Anti-Bribery Management System. They are also encouraged to promptly report any suspected or actual incidents of bribery, corruption, violence, harassment, legal violations, or any non-compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct through the Company’s designated reporting channels, following established procedures. Reports will be treated confidentially, and whistleblowers will be protected.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary actions as well as legal proceedings in accordance with applicable laws.
